I've been playing music on VDJ all day today.... and not so much as a hic or an up.... at all.

The exact same thing happend to me a couple years ago with VDJ. I believe it was programs running in the background causing the CPU spike and the little "hiccup". I stripped EVERYTHING off my laptop but VDJ and never go on the net and it's been flawless ever since. Things like Windows updates and antivirus programs will constantly look for updates or scan your laptop without you even knowing it. When they do, the CPU usage spikes and you get distortion in your track. Go to your programs and start removing un needed programs.

Shut down unnecessary programs and services.
The internet does not bother VDJ they even encorouge you to use it. First of all you can broadcast your sets live over the net and now with the net search the internet is even more valueable.

lol see if you dont have one dedicated for just one task, then you shouldnt use a computer
