I just came home to that oh so beautiful sight that we all love, the sight of freshly shipped boxes on our doorstep. Today there were two boxes. One contained 4 replacement bulbs for my UV washes and the other this little gem! I wanted a small board for doing some live sound gigs that didn't require the full 32 channel board and snake, and this seemed like it was the perfect thing for me. I had considered similar boards from Behringer and Yamaha, and while Yamaha would have also been a good choice, i couldn't find the deal I wanted on a board with the features I need. Mackie isn't the most reliable company out there, but the horror stories i've heard/experienced have always been with speakers and I haven't read anything but good stuff about their boards! Wish me luck Friday night- Relay For Life with 3 live bands and 40% chance of rain!
