hi i'v got hp laptop with vista window just keeps turning vdj off after 4 songs
i use to have vpc dj kj but the laptop crashed and i lost that one

There could be a hundred reasons why this is happening, Wendy. I'd suggest that you try posting this question on the VDJ forums.
This new vista machine wouldn't happen to be running Vista 64bit version?

Total BS. It's been rock-solid stable on my Vista 64-bit version laptop for 8 months and counting.
As with any laptop, if you don't tweak the display settings, power options and stuff running in the background, you're very likely asking for trouble.
Hey thanks for that.... I am looking at a new laptop and was steering clear of the 64 Bit version because of rumors..... of instability with a lot of, and especially, audio/video type programs.
I fully intend on stripping all unnecessary software from any new laptop I get.... any tips for vista 64 or 32 are welcome as I will be undertaking that tomorrow... I think.
VDJ has been running without a problem on my Vista 64 machine since last October.

I have VDJ on both a 64 and 32 bit Vista without a hickup. Just get the proper drivers for your hardware.
