Sorry... I couldn't resist but...

after last week's speechless moment... I decided it may be a good idea to start WRITING DOWN all the questions that I need answered, so I can keep control of the conversation and establish more immediate rapport with prospective clients.

Are any of you willing to share some of your "must ask" questions... or even share your actual list of questions with me? I really want to avoid the speechless moment again!

Will Rogers was a cowboy, broadway, and film star and much, much more. "I never met a man I didn't like," was his credo of genuine love and respect for humanity and all people everywhere.

I think you meant Will Robinson from Lost In Space?:sqerr: Simple mistake since they don't ever show the re-runs anymore.
 
Welcome to the over 40ish club. ;)

Making up a basic checklist is always good. If you're talking with a prospect or new client, always get their names if it's a wedding, their mailing address and a number where they can be reached.

Ask which venue they'll be using, what the hours are and the date.

Don't wait for them to ask. Sometimes people forget. Ensure that they're aware of your policies regarding a retainer fee and overtime costs.

Sometimes things change so be prepared to do something they said they didn't want done. :)

OH, don't make be jealous. I miss that show. I thought the remake movie sucked big time. You just can't recapture something like the original.

I thought the show was a joke when I was a kid. But I did like how they shared monsters costumes with Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea to save money. :sqeek:
 
Hey, if Irwin Allen could have used the same costumes on all of his shows to save money he would have.
 
And now on the serious side, If I haven't already dumped the interview questions I'll post them when I get home.
 
Nope. I haven't even looked. Other things have come up. I'll get to ity this weekend.
