Weddings Style of DJ??

If they want someone to spin plates as well as CD's, then I'm not their DJ.

To coin a phrase I saw on a shirt:
"Stop dancin' DJ, you didn't write that sh!t"

Kinda how I feel...

Actually, I do dance, but behind the table.
The only time I'm out front is to help start the cupid shuffle.

No games or gimmicks here. If the B/G wants me to "help" them do a game/gimmick, I can handle that. But being the all out crazy DJ ain't my game.

This is why "my" clients come to me.

There are entertainers for different types of clients, because "there are different types of clients". Some entertainers choose to be for "all types of clients". That's okay. It's just not my personal choice.

I promote the product I sell and there's no confusion.

:sqwink:

Like Hank, I do the same and don't want any confussion on who they hired, BUT, I'm that crazy interactive guy. As with Hank, I try not to be "everything to everyone", that definately doesn't work for me.

As Ed has stated, the "low key" / "wedding specialist" has been watered down or even over used, much like the "interactive dj" was overused 10 years ago.

Some times we worry to much about labels and putting things in nice neat little catagories. MAybe that comes with how we want to market our business or create seperation with someone else's business. I try not to overthink it to much. I simply want to work for fun people that want a great party. IF your clients are good fun people and you have their best interests in creating the best party for them then there should be no worries!
