After 5 months of very grueling efforts in a Business Entrepreneurial Course to set myself up for the future. I have officially opened the doors to further ventures in life to enhance my DJ business. In my new position in my new business venture as "The Wedding Director" and also a third venture as "The Event Director". I officially signed my first contract this evening at 4 PM for a new years event. Last minute and secured venue, catering, decorating and entertainment. Just so happens I know a professional part time DJ from 360 Degrees Entertainment. The course I took provided a complete business plan which I was tasked with creating from scratch ( financials would have failed me if not for a close friend and bean counter) Marketing was much more of a challenge than originally considered. I am currently being coached and have an assigned Business consultant. I will be using many marketing tips learned and will share as much as allowed here in the future. I have two Weddings in process to be planned and I am implementing an onboard Concierge to assist me with this effort so as to allow my DJ services if needed. Otherwise I will be there start to finish. Aint no stinkin economic downturn going to spoil my parade.
Wish me luck in this venture and I look forward with great hope to my new found future. It is proof that even when faced with many obstacles and sadness one can bounce back and succeed. If I can do it each and every one of you can. I wish great things for my Sisters and brothers on ODJT and the DJ world out there.:sqcool: Thanks for listening to my pride pumping out overtime.:sqcool:

Best of luck Jon. I also have added event planning to my business this year but haven't marketed it much yet. I have a few other irons in the fire and ideas on the backburner that I have to implement before I can take that on in full.

I'll be calling one of these nights Jon I think there are going to be some real interesting developments in my business soon.
