One of my beloved QSC's died on me Sat night...

Pounding the hell out of 2 double 18's at my outdoor party. (family function)

Dropped it off at the local QSC authorized service center, for them to take a look. the tech said "most likely, they (qsc) will say send it back to the factory"

Sooo I'll be down 1 sub amp for at least 2 weeks.. Good thing is i have 2 of them, and don't use both all of the time.

I want to upgrade to something with some serious gonads, that will power all 4 boxes with some authority.. Friend of mine is letting me use 1 of his Crown
5002VZ Macro-Techs for this thursdays show..

So maybe adding one of those....(depends on thursday), Or a QSC powerlight 6.0, or maybe a QSC RMX 5050.

I'm currently powering them with PLX2 3602's

I'm using a Peavey CS 3000 for a sub amp and it really kicks. I have never had a problem with it. I know QSC makes a great amp, but I see them going into the shop alot too. I know 3 other people who use Peavey amps and they have never needed a repair. The Peavey CS series amps are real work horses.

I've worked out a KILLER deal on a new QSC RMX 5050.

Guess what's going to be in my amp rack shortly?? I'm kinda excited :sqlaugh:

Sorry to bring a post back from the dead... but if you see this, how do/did you like the 5050?

sorry dead thread...
