I've decided I like Kid Rock even more, now... why?

Because since his All Summer Long went to number 1, I'm hearing a whole lot more Lynyrd Skynyrd on the radio again.... hopefully they can parlay this 15 minutes into a career revival. I'm a huge fan of Skynyrd.
 
I'd like to think so too. Unfortunately, Clear Channel dos not think like Wolfie does. ;)

All Summer Long is an act that's aimed at the Boomer Generation. Kid Rock will eventually fade away. :)
 
Fred I beg to differ. He broke into the scene rapping and has since reinvented himself learning to become a singer and musician and even crossing genres to include Rock, pop and country. I think he keeps marketing outside the box and will be innovative enough to remain successful as long as he keeps his game on. Some have said his concerts are incredible. Ask my buddy The Maestro who was front row center for his recent concert in Vancouver.

Well, he's been around what, 10 years? A very nice run. And with this hit I am sure he's added another 3 - 4 for sure.

Well he is on tour with Skynrd right now so that should help. I'm sure for Skynrd this a chance for them to stay relevant and sell their music to a new generation with the help of Kid Rock fans and Guitar Hero.

Listen to his New Orleans track, talk about coming out of your comfort zone, and he actually does it well, I like that song too
 
I wasn't impressed when he came to town. He only did one song and left the stage because it was too cold. Some people paid big money for him to sing several songs. In fact he was on record to do 2, a contract breach from what I've been told.

Paid for HIM or paid for a bunch of groups? I already know you don't like Kid Rock, so let's be fair, Travis.
 
Finally got to play All Summer Long (the song has really grown on me) at a wedding this weekend, they wanted all country and hard rock. It wasn't on her request list, but her and the bridesmaids went nuts over it, even had grandma on the dancefloor.
 
I find myself liking his newest stuff a lot as it shows that he's matured a bit and so has his music.

Never was overly impressed with his "greasy white pimp" schtick and his inability to get past over using the F-bomb over and over and over. :sqrolleyes:
