Sept is silly busy,,, gigs on the 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 20, 24, 25, and 27.....
so here are a few pics from the first two...
The 8th was for a company called Rexaire,,, they sell/make the Rainbow Vaccume...
#00 peeps at the Ritz... they brought in a band and me,,, and production... The band played the first hour and then I was to do a 20 min Karaoke set then the band was to come back on for an hour and let people jam with them, then I was to do another 20 min Karaoke set, then the band was to close it out...
To make a long story short,,, after I did my first set and the band came back on for their second set, they told the band to stop, had me come back on, and then I played 2 hours of overtime... so what was going to be a cool, 2-20 min set night for me, no lights and no sound,,, wham bamm .... turned into a 3 hour Karaoke/dance party!
The lighting and sound they brought is was fantastic! Lava Lounge was the theme.... see pics,, I love the amp rack!!! The room pic you can see the trussing that they hung,, 40 feet? dunno and I was set up on the left,, can't really see....
The 9th gig, was for HSBC Credit Cards.....
360, outside after the hula show 8:30 - 10pm...
really fun, the sound guy they brought in was kinda a pain, but the end result was good, so what eva!
There was an interesting problem with my VUE III but I will make a separate post for that in the gear forum.....
The sunset,,, yep,,, and the pic of the band on-stage, if you look right, you can see my blue laptop....
The pool bar at the Hyatt is neat... the platform in the ocean is where you go and rent jet skiis... reminded me of "Water World"
I did get some time to walk and take some "scenery" shots... Travis will be getting those for my web site, and some other special place they will be posted..
