Having 8 videos of the Compatibility Quiz/Game/Contest/Shtick, they are headed into edit for a collage/composite demo production needed to answer the question, "What is it?" without giving the whole enchilada away, thus the fun of it too.

The video resolution of this particular coverage was so good, I decide to toss it up there in it's entirety until the collage/composite edit is done.

The Compatibility Quiz (aka The Shoe Game), more refined AND shoeless [using shoes is Limburger cheese!]

YouTube - Bride & Groom - Are They Compatible?

Thanks. Can't wait for the video collage to be finished. One question, eight answers, eight audience reactions. I've got a great video creative editor. Psyched!!!!

Cap, Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us...it's very much appreciated.

Oh, Coreen told me to tell you that she still thinks you're a Hunk!

Kat: I'll be happy to do it for you at your wedding. Just check "Yes" on my Planner, which you will receive once the contracts and contract signing payment is received.

Kirby: Tell Coreen it's time for her eye examination.

Great Cap! May I give you a question that always gets a big laugh and is easy to segway into further interaction for the audience. Who has a friend or family member most likey to end up on the Jerry Springer Show> then ask are they here?..

Cap awesome video. Last Saturday I did a after wedding reception. The couple were mixed Punjabi / Canadian. At their reception in India they did the shoe game of sorts and so when returning to Canada we developed a get even grilling for the parents. We put both sets of parents on the floor her parents facing one way the others facing the other direction. We used stick indicators which had the planet Mars and the other planet venus to signify which one did it. We came up with 7 different hidden secrets the parents might not have been aware of. This was pretty funny. For example who had to trim the carpet in the living room to hide the fact they caught it on fire during a house party when the parents were away. Example two. Who secretly likes the spice girls and took advantage of going as a chaperon for their nieces. I dont have the exact script in front of me but it was a very nice twist to the whole old school bit.

Great vid, Cap! Thanks for sharing!

Wondering...I have only seen this where the B/G is sitting back-to-back. In this configuration, they are not able to interact and share repartee. Wondering if any of you have tried or even witnessed this w/ the B/G sitting next to each other, ala The Newlywed Game. Part of that fun was the byplay that took place after disparate answers were revealed. Any thoughts?

Cap,
Do you show the brides that video in order to explain the game or just tell them about it. I've only done it once but I believe they saw Jimmie Malone's video first. I think that seeing the video would give away to much.

Kat,
Cap may drive to the ends for you but that will take to long. I'd be happy to fly in.:sqlaugh: I'm sure Ben has lots of equipment to loan us anyway.:sqwink:

Will: I'm sure there could be dozens of successful variations, each variation designed to fit the style and personality of the presenter as well as the psychological impact one hopes for from the audience.

Ron: At the moment, I do not have that video linked to my website as the demo and yes, I agree with you that it gives too much away.

Once the video collage edit is completed along with some extra footage of yours truly explaining my method and thought process, it will become the demo with lots of dangling carrots.

Kat: Ron is a typical guy, isn't he? Takes the short cuts, zooms in, wham bam thank you ma'am, and zooms back out. In this case, he's even suggesting he'd use someone else's tool as well. You're better off staying single no matter how cute and cuddly Ron is.

Cap,

You mentioned the video resolution... I'm about to throw up my 'final performance' in a video and was curious how large the video file was when uploaded to YouTube?

I basically don't want to create the equivalent of trying to display a photo on a web when it was taken straight from a digital camera at 3072 x 2048 resulting in a multi-megabyte file. ;-)

But, yes, excellent video, my friend.

John: About uploading...

Uploads usually take 1-5 minutes per MB on a high-speed connection, and converting your video takes a few minutes.

Your video is limited to 10 minutes and 1024 MB.

Kat,
Cap is right. He would be your better choice. After all you'd just want to keep me.:sqlaugh:

Somewhere safe in the back yard secured in box where no one will ever be harmed again.:sqeek:

When uploading to YouTube, any idea on the timeframe of when this disappears:

"Uploaded (processing, please wait)" - it's a 250mb movie (referencing the photo question analogy earlier in this thread, in case that's the reason for taking long).

Cap love it
- never seen it done that way before so this gives me some new ideas to work on....
