Kid Rock... just shoot me.....

It gets played on the Country, CHR, Rock, Eighties (j/k), and Alternative stations.

Ick, what a crossover GENIUS.

Fixed that up for you T..... no need to thank me. :sqlaugh:

I'm NOT a kid rock fan but I DO like this song.

I love the whole CD and I was never a big fan. I do hate liking this song because I personally don't like the practice of "sampling" one hit to make another. He sampled two hits and I should hate it twice as much.

It's just so damn catchy. :sqconfused:

I don't mind sampling as long as it's done well. In this case, it is. As much of a loser that he is, I can't complain about the song.

Picture, on the other hand, I have difficulty with...not because it's a bad song. I was at a party once, where the host was drunk (and LOVES the song) and he played the song back-to-back 88 times. I had to go outside and hurl.

All Summer Long is currently #5 in "Adult Contemporary". :sqerr: according to what I just saw in USA Today.

That just ain't right. :sqmad:

You're right, it's not right.

His horrible music should not be on any chart or even made!!!

It's because of the hooks in the song. Can you say Baby Boomer generation?

awooooollllll werewolves of london where the skies are so balooooueeeee..

What has gotten into me! Ditto on the sample Hank.

The problem with sampling is this...

If it's done well (like in this case) the original song(s) don't get passed to new generations and lose their integrity. If they are done poorly, the original song(s) don't get passed to new generations and lose their integrity.

It's a paradox.

I always work in the originals for the "older folks"

I played it Saturday night for the first time. Never heard it until then.

I like it.

Yah... it's been playing on the local Country station here for a couple of weeks now. The samples are what's getting the attention. :)
