That depends on the equipment you must bring, library and if it is the primary entertainment or just an add on....

I typically charge a flat rate of $199 but then I'm using flat panels, and pro quality karaoke equipment and an ample library of music.

Not as a primary form just an add-on must requests I had in the past was because they just wanted to do about an hour or so of Karaoke and the rest was dancing.
 
First, keep in mind that I am a Karaoke Host first, and DJ second.


My minimum event fee for a small private party at home is $100 an hour, 4 hour minimun. Thats for a home party. As soon as it moves to a rented venue I add 100 min ( 'cause they can afford it) Then my fee changes for the type of event.

Assuming 4 hours at a rented venue ( private party (Birthday, Anniversary, or other "non-biggie" occasions) $500 for 4 hours. Corporate parties anywhere from $650-$1250 No longer accept weddings.
