Stacey ask the client for a playlist or some suggestions. most 17 year olds have ipods and access to the net. IF YOU HAVE DIRECT TV THEY HAVE A MUSIC STATION CALLED THE HEAT. It plays all the latest stuff and it is also on sat radio. I also look at billboards top 100 and promo only hit list and itune will show u the top downloads int he country. good luck

anytime I do a teen party, I just go to the billboard top 20 and make sure i have all of those. that and my normal collection always works well.

We ALWAYS print out a list of the Billboard top 40 before we head out to the gig. Sometimes I have brain farts and can't pick a song. I use billboard to keep me on track

I just did a teen event, and the three most popular requests were, in this order:

1) "SLOW SONGS"
2) AMERICAN IDIOT
3) SWEET HOME ALABAMA

if they're in the nj/ny area just go to z100.com and look at their playlist and their top 20, it's on the right hand side. You can't go wrong with those. country is a big no no round here, and the cupid shuffle hasn't really gotten big yet. Cha cha slide will work, and if the girl is from the central or northern area of jersey they might be into "techno" as well.
