Since we couldn't pick more than one, I picked I know the music. I pretty good at narrowing down someone's rendition of a song.
I'm also good at reading a crowd & just good at customer service.

#1 I'm a crowd reader. I like wide open playlist, I hate being restricted.
#2 I have a great ear I may not know actual frequencies 100% of the time but I can make a room sound good.
#3 I know music I can pick hot tracks before they hit Promo Only, I'm always playing the next hit before the radio. I play music people love that they have no idea who the artist may be.

Timing for the wide range of music knowledge allows me to be ready for action to bring a crowd from 0-250 in moments. Mileage may vary but for the most part this is my biggest strength!
I think that my "gift" is being able to pull out an obscure song during an event(at the right time). Seeing the looks in the crowd and the excitement in the air is incredible. This comes with knowing music and having music...thx
Working my mojo with clients during and after the event, that usually gets me the referalls, as for phone work, i'm very laid back and upfront, not trying to sell anything except what you see is what you get. Since most of my clients have heard me in person.
I would say I know my music. And each event I do I become better and better at reading the crowd and MCing. I just finished my first year. And I have been getting high marks by clients which thrills me. My weak areas are spanish and country music. So those are the areas I'm working on the most right now.
