Well Thunder, you are quite "Peeved" aren't ya? LOL

Very good! I thought for sure that your answer would need two pages! LOL How does that Compressor comp[are to any of the DBXs? Have you tried others before settling on this one?
Same question for the Crossover.

Can't really say how the components we have compare to others as we've had this forever it seems. That would be a better question for Steve. Basically the compressor and crossover are decent cheap ones that do what we need them to. The Q is about the same story; good price & better than the stereo 15 band....all could be better quality, but I guess it's where we draw the line in function and price. I wouldn't be surprised to see a better Q in there some day, but it's not an urgent want/need.

I like those DBX Compressors. Where in the chain do you use them? Is it for the whole system or for your mikes?

Between the EQ and the crossover. Forgot to put that the 160 is two units (L+R) was too tired last night :sqerr:.

Very Nice Setup Rox!

Thanks.

I also have an additional 4000 that I run when I'm outdoors and need bigger boom.

Only been on the Crowns for about 18 months and cannot say enough about the sound quality these amps provide. That is due in no small part to having a professional supplier with a highly qualified and experienced staff that was capable and available to assist in configuring the rigs at actual events. Money well spent.

Big ups to the New Orleans Music Exchange for dat!
