I was off 11-4-06 also.

I have a new found love for MTG Online ( Magic The Gathering ). I have been playing way too much it's affecting my chat board time.

I have been online for all of the last 10 clients emails and closed 3 weddings while playing so I guess it all isn't so bad.

Carni was rolled just prior to the launch of Luclin (Velious-era) and has been my main. I acquired Tsolval about the time PoP launched and he sat as a secondary account for quite some time. About 2 years ago, I got a second computer and started running both toons at once.

Two months ago, the level cap was raised from 70 to 75. Five levels to grind, on top of school just about tanked my motivation.

How funny my toons are on the rathe. I have been really getting the urge to play again. I would run my characters to pop and buff my necro and group him with my druid and just invis him and use my necro to kill with. I played for 5 years. I have been starting to miss it. But I loved to solo that was so much fun for me.

I did my November 4 party with one pair of Peaveys. Here is the playlist for the dance, to the best of my recollection:

Vinyl:

Great playlist!
Wow, I wish that I'd been there for that!

I had the 4th off, but we did a reception on the 3rd. My roadie didn't show up (called late in the afternoon with the flu and I couldn't find anyone at the last minute) and I had to lug all my gear and lights myself. I ended up in bed for the next 3 days....

Playlist was pretty much hip-hop for the majority of the night, but everyone had a good time.

We have the next 4 weekends free...so I'm planning on getting a lot of music loaded on the hard drive.

I got my feedback form from them in the mail today. Although they would definitely hire me again, they would also definitely provide a playlist next time.

Johnny, I already told you I like that mix and would have enjoyed it. But in reference to your above post, the ones in bold, either had me scratching my head, "OR", was wondering if these are big locally..... Down in Philly, I have NEVER played those.... but also, you didn't say what type of even this was, did you? Because if it wasn't a wedding, they surely are more "playable".

And, like I said, I would have enjoyed this mix!

WAKE UP LITTLE SUSIE -- ESSENTIAL! Everybody screamed in joy when it began.

I'M A BELIEVER -- gets requested at weddings, was SO-SO at this party

FISHIN IN THE DARK -- ESSENTIAL! Everyone line-danced.

PLEASE MR POSTMAN -- ever since it was requested once at a wedding, I play it at almost all my parties--works well, I think

IMMIGRANT SONG -- often requested at weddings (but I often do not play it, and nobody ever complains about that, either)--did not work so well at THIS party

LONG TIME GONE -- ESSENTIAL! Everyone line-danced again.

THUNDERSTRUCK -- often requested at weddings, and was requested at THIS party

HELLO I LOVE YOU -- my pick--not the worst choice, but could have done without it (at various weddings, it has worked well)

YOU REALLY GOT ME -- not my pick, but basically the same result as HELLO I LOVE YOU

JUST WHAT I NEEDED -- same as YOU REALLY GOT ME

THIS party was a 25th anniversary.
