Recently an accountant friend of mine has sought interest in having my company help liquidate equipment in the club after a recent IRS crackdown on unpaid taxes. The club was red hot and got caught red handed.
Anyway. In a month or so, I'm going to find out if I'm going to get to liquidate all of their gear. If you are interested in being on my "list" of who's who please shoot an email. I'd really like to push this locally first, then to you guys (actually at the same time) before letting ebay get their dirty paws on it.
Here's my plan.
Secure equipment off site.
Inspect, clean, and repair all that I can.
Throw away the junk.
Give you first chance at the goods.
This list doesn't have 2 EAW cabs or 4 Subs with 4, 15's each.
There are boxes and boxes of vinyl in there.
I haven't gone through and do much to test while installed, but to give you an idea, more than 2/3 of the lighting listed was flown and working. I will only sell non working lights as parts etc. There were some other lights that were on the floor in different storerooms and some amps too. The rack of amps I saw had about 10 or so thumpin'. System sounded fine. The club shut down in running order back in June.
As for vinyl and what there is...it was a gay bar so quite a bit of disco and tech and.....god knows what else.
Just email me, say you want to be on the list, and I'll let you know whats up with the whole thing in a month. If you have reasonable offers, I'll save em and update ya. Shipping will be very fair.
