Need Help

Does anyone own a HP PSC xi1210 All in one Printer? I broke one of the installation Cds and need a file from it. I was attempting to reinstall the printer after buying new cartridges and now I am stuck in the install process.
File name is hpzius12.sys

If Vista their site says to use the drivers loaded by Vista

Thanks! I have been to the site already but got stuck in the Install process. there is one thing I did not try which i am going to now. Will let you know the outcome

Sometimes with hp.com you need to download and install it locally rather than from the site.

Now I can get HP Director to open showing 5 icons but I can't get then to open from there. When I click on "Scan Document" I get an error message telling me "The application is currently in use or unavailable". Looks like i need to shoot this damn thing and buy a new one. Gonna let Rick's goats stomp on it first. :sqmad:

as for the hp software.... always download it first before using it

Houston completly uninstall the driver and then reinstall from scratch. Prnter drivers can be a bitch sometimes this is the only way I have found to get it to work right

I've gotten that msg. once or twice. I used the windows camera/scanner wizard icon and it worked fine. Ya never know.

I did that several times and each time I deleted everything after the install and started fresh!

but did you do a system reboot to clean out whats in the memory cache ??

so it still wont install correctly ?

if you downloaded the software - maybe the download wasnt 100%
so you may need to use another computer to download the software again
