Hi everyone,

I am new to the DJ Scene, and was given an EAP 15D Speaker, it also turns out that i need an amplifier for this piece of equipment. I was wondering if there are any amplifiers people can recommend for me? The speaker i got is the,

EAP-15D High-Definition Professional Speaker

and the amplifier i have been looking at is the Pyle Pro PZR6XA

Do you have just one speaker or two? Run far, far, far away from the Pyle Pro amplifier. As an aggregate I would say that the level of success with this amp has been limited in pro application. I'm sure some have had luck here with them, but I think most will agree with me that it's well worth it to get a quality amp up front. You can get a very inexpensive and yet reasonably decent amp (substantially better than the Pyle for sure). Take for example the QSC GX5. Under $400, 6 year warranty. Pretty tough to beat that. There's also the QSC GX3, only $299, 6 year warranty also.

Pyle is living room stereo equipment marketed as pro sound. Pyle grossly overstates their specs.
 
I too use a Crown xti 2000 and it works great with my Peaveys.
