Napster and Free Music

I didn't watch it but I will probably tomorrow but I will say if the record companies had embraced the technology instead of fighting it tooth and nail there wouldn't be half the problems there are with piracy

Long before Napster there were files being traded on USNet and IRC Napster just brought the technology and people to the mainstream. If it weren't for Napster there would probably be no Itunes or it sure wouldn't be what it is today and we would be still paying $25 for a shoddy album that held one or two good songs
