Interesting, but not something I'd use. If anything, I'd be concerned with vibrations from the sub rattling things up in those lights. Although they're LEDs, there are still connections that could be broken with prolonged vibrations from a subwoofer.

Why not put them on T-bar at that level behind you? Or get some uplighting-type bases and put them back on the floor?
 
in certain situations. you could also get an upright to get them a little higher.
but I too would wonder about vibration

rubber washers of some sort?
a shock mount like a studio mic?
