First I picked the van up from the mechanic shop and thought things were OK. I went to drive to the storage unit to get the gear we needed for Saturdays event and the van was still not running right. Got a truck to use to carry most of the gear we needed to use. We wrnt to the storage unit and picked up 2 QSC amps and 4 double 15's.

I had my friend help us out with getting other stuff we needed so we didn't have to make 2 trips. That was very nice of him. He's doing a dance with his mentor/friend on November 27th. I promised him I would be there to take pictures and video for him helping us on Saturday. I have to keep reminding him I'm a DJ and not a photographer.

Back to Saturday. I wanted to play for a good amount of time but only played a little bit because my body kept cramping up all over for some reason.. Don't know why. I just barely could move at all.

My partner did an awesome job. He took the crowd back to some serious old school classics. Melodies, Funk Masters Lovr Money, Stomp, Jimmy Bo Horn Spank , Visual The Music Got Me and so much more. The crowd loved it!

I stayed in the truck most of the time because of the pain I was in. I got home and rested. Sunday I felt a whole lot better.

Today I'm taking the van back to the shop to see what the issue is.

Mix it might be time to hang them up and just travel with your friend when you can. If you had been on your own that night it would have been a disaster

Have you started your cancer treatments yet? Those can have some side effects you don't expect.
Mot yet. My appointment is this Thursday to see the doctor to find out has it spread. One side note. I got a phone call from one of the members of The Silver Stars who is a friend. They were having the Scutter Homes reunion on Saturday and who ever was supposed to do it something happened. Don't know what happened. I just know talking about last minute. Of course I couldn't do it anyway because we were doing that event in the park.

Well, if you're promising to take pictures you're certainly not a DJ.
