HELP!

hello.

I own a TT1550 turntable and recently replace the cartridge. Now it doesnt sound like i have any low end and sounds strained and i am missing half of the sound. I have a gig on the 14th. Can you help me.

make sure you have all the wires connected properly on the headshell

Can you give us a model no. on the cartridge?

do you have a second turntable you can swap cartridges with and see if you still have the same problem?

One of your set of leads to the cartrige is out of phase.
