Just trying to figure something out. If your djing with the typical laptop setup at a gig, could you play wma files that have drm or would you have to change them to mp3. Thanks
 
wma thats got drm
- if they are yours, then your fine, but if you dont own then you cant play them...

its always better as an mp3 as they dont have drm copyright on the file

I wouldnt touch wma's as it is

I like keeping things in the same format so mp3's are the only things in my computers right now. Now I'm waiting for my DVD videos to arrive :D:D:D:D
 
the only program i know that plays drm files is virtual DJ.

I typically use OTS, so i would convert them.

I suppose someone could use windows media player to play the drm file...but i will not use windows media with another program running...i've had conflicts.
