Do we have any volunteers who would like to review and critique my web pages and business objectives in the hope of improving my business?
My situation is this:
I have a fairly good full time job, so I don't NEED the DJ income, but it comes in really handy for the extras the family needs. I am trying to draw in about 2-3 events a month AT MOST. One wedding and one private party would almost be perfect. Two weddings would be more than enough, and backyard parties... I could handle about 3 a month. I don't want to do an event every weekend and lose out on family time that much but it's nice to get away from them at times.
I've been working with another DJ who has TONS of experience doing weddings. However, because of his rates, we're not getting much work. He won't touch anything under $1200. That leaves the "sub-prime" wedding market open to me.
I'm using the following online referral systems right now:
www.decidio.com
www.gigmasters.com (I have booked 3 events through them in 4 months)
www.eventective.com
www.wedj.com
Oh, and by the way, my web page is: www.afterhours-entertainment.com
I'm sure there are others, but I have probably forgotten them.
From wedj.com I receive an e-mail every time someone sees my portal. However, I'm having a problem converting those visits to actual inquiries on the gigbuilder system.
Would anyone be willing to share some open, constructive criticism?
Thanks a bunch!
