I made a new pre-mix (I use them during cocktail hour when I have to break down ceremony at the same time). I thought there were some fun tunes in this that most people might not stick in a cocktail hour so I thought I'd share. It's got a little indie, pop, throwback, etc. while trying to keep the energy mostly upbeat.

I made a Spotify cocktail playlist for my friend's wedding a few years ago. I only MCed the event but I made the list just in case the band forgot to bring cocktail music. Sure enough, they forgot and my phone came to the rescue. The couple is 68 & 72 so the playlist leans to the older music. Many of my friends love this playlist. It is extra long so when I put it on shuffle it sounds different every time. My wife will ask me to put on this playlist a couple of times a month. She never tires of it. I imagine it would work with any set of boomers.

@ sawdust, not to brag, but I can make my own copy of the above list because I have all of them in my music library (CD & MP3) all the songs. Of course, I've had many more years than most there to accumulate them.
The list you created is a masterpiece, in my opinion. Good job.

I probably have all of those songs in my library as well. I just find Spotify way more convenient than other playback apps and I don't have to copy my collection over and keep it synced. I can also access and control playback from multiple devices. I have tons of good playlists. I have one list of mostly yacht rock stuff that is by far the most popular among my friends (all boomers).
