AV/IT Summit _ UBS Arena

Just back from the AV/IT summit that they had at the UBS Arena by me. They just built the Arena 2 years ago as the home for the Islanders Hockey team. The Summit included a demo of the AV system in the Arena and a behind the Scenes tour of the control rooms, press areas, editing room &, etc. They even had the key operators and key manufacturer's reps on hand for questions. Very impressive. The JBL audio system sounded amazing.

They had a boxing day to preview the new Prudential Center and they were setting up the JBL line array system. That system is dynamite!!!!!!!!! Of course it was supposed to be with the how much it cost to build. That place looks hot. Thanks for all the pictures.

I worked as DJ/Promo announcer for our local major junior team a few years back it's amazing how much and what goes on behind the scenes. Our setup was not even in the same league as that stuff they had an EV system ran by Bryston amps. It was top of the line back in the day but that was 30+ years ago. Our AV room was smaller than an average living room with 6-8 working in there all the time.
