I was scrolling Amazon checking out Black Friday deals like I do every year around Black Friday, and low and behold I find a "Amazon Basics Speaker Stand". I would never have thought that Amazon would choose to go into the Audio/Sound Musician/DJ Equipment arena and have cheap products produced under the Amazon Basics brand and under cut everybody else!

Now I am wondering if we will start seeing "Amazon Basics PA Speakers" and "Amazon Basics Mixers" etc. etc.

Granted, I have brought a few Amazon Basics things such as batteries, and jean shorts, but I figured they would only stay in the household items and clothing industry. Apparently, they have no bounds on what they will produce and slap their name on to sell.

They just bought a container full from some Chinese manufacturer and had them made with their logo, Literally anyone with enough money can do this

They look like any other cheap speaker stand I have used similar in the past I think there is still a pair in my gear room. They held up well as long as you aren't rough moving them

I have a pair of Rockville speaker stands, very cheap and work well for my 14lb s1 pro+’s.

My $49.99 pair of Rockville air assisted stands still function after like 7 years now. One of them the lock mechanism is starting to malfunction as I guess it is getting worn down. This made me realize that the old school locking Pins are the best way to go long term. Only issue with the pins is if they become untied and you lose it.

The cheap nylon bag that came with the Rockville stands had the strap break on me. I ordered a 2nd one considering the bag is only $16.95. I only got like 18 months out of the 2nd one. So this time around I ordered a Gator Frameworks bag for these stands. All my Gator bags have held up to the test of time. I also have an On Stage Stands bag with my old Aluminum On Stage Stands. Real thick, and I would say the most durable speaker stand bag I have.
