Ok Ok Ok so its not a DJ/VJ gig but a movie gig.

Location: Blackberry Farm, Walland Tennessee //www.blackberryfarm.com/
Movie: Star Wars, The Force Awakens
Equipment Used: Eiki LC-XB42 Projector, Da-Lite 12x9 Screen, Sony DVD Player, 2 jbl JRX Speakers, 1-b52 subwoofer, Yamaha 312sc powered mixer.

This had to be one of the most beautiful mountain settings I've ever witnessed. Kelly Clarkston was even married in the same spot my screen was setup.

Load in wasn't tooooo bad. A few uneven surfaces and maybe 150+ft of travel x3 from the van. But no heavy DJ consoles to drag though the thickest, most unbelievably best maintained grass you will ever step foot on. I couldn't find a single weed...anywhere.

I started setting up about 6 p.m. and had everything ready to go around 7:15. Showtime wasn't until about 9 so I had some wait time. This was a private event for guests of the resort so they only had maybe 15-17 people in attendance. The show was the latest Star Wars movie. By the end, I think 9 people were left.

The setup/breakdown went without a glitch and I didn't even have to adjust the projector stand after first placement. I did have one noise complaint from a guest in a nearby cottage so I had to back the sub and volume down a touch. That sound will really carry on quiet night back in one of those mountain hollows. And I also learned my lesson by bringing only 2 flashlights for breakdown as there absolutely no house lighting.20160528_193410.jpg 20160528_200637.jpg 20160528_193511.jpg

sorry so few were there. I might have tried two speakers in back, but for that small of crowd I am sure you were fine.
