I've wanted a 3D printer for a long long time. Finally broke down and spent $250, and another 100 on filament to print.

Got a lot of things to print off Thingiverse for my Dillon press for reloading.
Then I got a tesla charger holder (finally got my tesla Y a month ago).

Then it's time to learn Tinkercad to 'engineer' or design whatever your mind can imagine.

I've been hanging my lights on the stand with bolts..slow and tedious for setup/teardown. I've used 0 and C clamps and they're just about as bad and now you have to spend mo money and carry mo stuff that weighs mo pounds.

So I had a moment of inspiration today and designed 2 hangars, that will bolt to the stand and has a slot and clip to slide the light bracket into. If it works I'll refine it so the clips are hinged and stay attached.

I'll post pics - i've yet to print them out, have a wedding tomorrow so I'll give it a go then if I can get them printed.

3D printers go slow...

BTW, I got a creality ender 3v2.

Getting a 3D printer is very high on my list for me of things I want to get , as someone that builds models, its been a game changer for our hobby, the sky, well, the files are the limit.

My buddy was selling 3D printers for a while that could print carbon-fiber stuff. He made lots of stuff for his RC cars. The company he represented even sold metal printers with 0.1 mil resolution. It is game changing technology for sure. I'm waiting for the sex industry to embrace them. Then every home will have one (like with VCRs back in the day).
