I was considering advertising on www.philly.com . This is the web version of the Philly newspapers. You can specifically target which counties you want to target. There are banner ads, I believe, vs. the way Google does it.
They charge $1000 per 100,000 "impressions" for each county.
To put that in perspective, my Google ads - which target the whole Philly area - have cost me only $165 in 2 years, and I have had 1.3 million impressions ( only 258 click thrus ).
Think that sounds expensive?
