I had posted this on Facebook 10 years ago with the statement this should be fun,
Back story smallish venue 150 guests, there is an unaffiliated bar next door with a great live band that night I was done within a 1/2 an hour of the formal dances being completed, as 90% of the guests went next door for adult beverages and stayed because the band was great

No smoking kinda put a damper on things at first. Had a bride & groom go out for a smoke or something and where gone so long that the guests started leaving assuming they left for their honeymoon. When the couple finally can back in from their long absence they asked, Why did almost everyone leave?
Old people are not very happy campers when they don't get their cake after dinner. :djsmug:
