To Scrim or Not to Scrim

My 2 cents........I'm not a fan of speaker stands being scrimmed. It draws attention to them. But the Xstands, no one says you have to use the white cover. Get the black one. That will look clean.

now THAT's a scrim I could learn to like!
(if I used an X-stand)

Anything Black in a room that is light colored to begin with and then filled with tables covered with white linen or cream colored linen will not be as clean looking as a white colored scrim.

It is called contrast Cesar, good contrast. Too much blend can be boring!

Spoken from people that have never seen the difference where my opinion comes from having a White and Black system. Keep telling yourself that guys.
Hey, some things transcend one into the other. I am also in the Art Business plus I work side by side with some well known Interior Designers here in Houston. To do that one has to be intimately acquainted with color schemes and decor. The scrim shown above is most appealing to the eye even though a tailored pleated skirt will beat that one, hands down.

Wow Cesar your starting to see many folks point here in regards to your cred. You are correct no one can see your opinion since you have yet to share anything to prove it.

So now we went from a conspicuous DJ System to a DJ System that blends and you think a Black DJ System is less conspicuous or blends better into a room then a White system. Have you ever seen a White DJ system in use by another DJ set up in a venue room?

I don't have to see it, I can picture it! ;)

I can picture what the Grand Canyon looks like but I am sure what I picture doesn't even come close to seeing it in person.

There is the weak spot with your rebuttal.

speakers? BLACK
road case? BLACK
light stands? BLACK
light fixtures? BLACK
tuxedo? BLACK
shoes? BLACK

yeah.....wouldn't wanna have any contrast in a light colored room.

You're a DJ, you're going to have gear, sometimes a lot of it. People know, understand and accept the fact that, oh my gosh, there might be a tripod for a speaker. Oh the horror, the humanity of it all...oh no what ever shall we do?

If you don't want to be seen with tripods and gear then go be a photographer, their gear is a heck of a lot smaller than ours.

I dont like the look of them.

Looks like some Big Headed Monks and a creature from Star Trek. Even ET looked better than that!
