But he doesn't deejay for classy Italians where caviar is served during cocktail hour. He deejays for people who like lifted Ford Trucks and drinks Coors Light at these events.

Think Ford of Speakers! Not Ferrari...

He said price is not an issue

I'm interested to see if these are ordered, and used for these 100 person events.

Here is a whole package including cases ON SALE for $9422 + Tax

Look, All I'm saying is that Ford Beat Ferrari in the Le Mans 3 years running when nobody thought Ford could ever do it. Sometimes, considering the environment, and audience, it makes more sense to go with a Ford vs. going with a Ferrari :)

It's about buying really good equipment to get the job right. Buying professional quality gear from a well known manufacturer will normally mean it will sound great, last a long time and be well worth the money spent. I know what I'm going to say here has nothing to do with you Tunes. This is for the beginner just starting out.

Some really good brands to consider and not in a particular order are QSC, Yamaha, JBL, Bose, EV, RCF, Yorkville, FBT and Mackie. Those companies have a reputation to up keep. Now for some of those companies have entry level equipment and go up from there.

Now depending on your budget that can determine what you will buy. Spending extra money on equipment will usually pay off in the long run. I know some will ask why spend this much when I can get this for less?

What you will normally find is the item costing more will sound better, perform better and last longer. It also will do something else when you get a compliment on the job you did. Without them saying it the equipment you used sounded really great. One thing that can never be missed is system that sounds like garbage.

Stay clear away from Pyle or Rockville for speakers or anything like those. Pyle is a pile of junk. If are considering buy those 2 to use for private events RUN FOREST RUN!

Jason Jani has some really good videos on this and used at events. I highly considered it... but I think for me, a better system for smaller events will be the ld maui 44.

Sure, Ford did beat Ferrari - in a very expensive and rare Ford, engineered and built to perform - which at the time, cost more than any Ferrari on that track. Notice that Ford did not use the Pinto (or even the Mustang) to beat a Ferrari.

I'm pretty sure Ferrari didn't just pull a car off the showroom floor either.

Sure - but it's quite a bit cheaper for someone that's already in the game with demonstrated and engineered success than it is for someone new to the game trying to have a better engineered product than you. All Ferrari had to do was build / adapt their current car. Ford had to come up with a car that was engineered to be better than a Ferrari - and this had a massive cost. That specific line of cars currently costs 8 figures - while some of the newer street versions are in the 6 figures. These are not your typical Fords, nor have they ever been. Again, they didn't bring a Pinto or Mustang to try and beat a Ferrari.

53 years later (they stepped out of Le Mans in 2019), they still didn't bring anything less than the best to try and beat a Ferrari. Allegedly, the Mustang GT3 (not a cheap car by any stretch) will be going to Le Mans in 2024.

Using Ricky's example .. Ford Beats Ferrari, he was thinking Ford as an econobox - which looking at the details, was anything but. If anything, the Ford cost more.

I'm in no way a Ford fan but the competition is to see who can build a faster car. Ferrari had owned that title until Ford stepped up to the plate, paid the engineering and production cost, then beat Ferrari at their own game. Kudos to the Ford team for winning.

In my opinion, Bose pro16’s, 32’s, Evolve50, Maui44’s would all fit the bill(obviously, i like line arrays😁)

i use the 16’s and 32’s. Seem to find myself using the 16’s more for size of party mentioned.

I was super happy my local dealer is an authorized dealer for them, they only carry products they are authorized to repair under warranty in house, I’m still nervous that my Bass Boss stuff had to come direct with no local service center

Completely agreed - which is not the example Ricky thought he was using.
