I'm looking for your idea's and vote to see how many would be interested in a GOOD website builder for your site with the ability to have 3,000+ interchangeable html & flash templates at your fingertips.

I'm using this poll and your opinions to better serve my current & future web-customers. I figured I'd go to the people I trust most here! My goal is to allow anybody to have a website up and running in 24 hours. Cool? :sqcool:

LOL Honestly Travis I didn't read this before I PM'd you. On the surface this looks like exactly what I want

I'll abstain from voting based on what I think of templates but for your casual webmaster a builder is probably the easiest way to go.

Hey I was reading something about an Adobe Air app that ties in to one of the web builder platforms that allows people to do their work locally, offline then upload the changes to the builder. Pretty cool.

you have to make anything user friendly so idiots like me can use it.. I mean I wouldn't because then I wouldn't need you and with all the money I pay you, if I stopped I know that you would go outa business, so I would almost never do that.... but anything made has to be made with those of us in mind that are really bad at that stuff.

I'm with Dan here 100% - Go for it though Travis I know of someone (ahem not me by the way) makes a total balls up of template sites and they are totally chronic for ranking and appearance.

D

Use one ONLY if generates W3C compliant code and not bloated garbage.
I'm going to look into compliance, Strict? BTW It has a dialog that allows you to import something from microsoft word for instance and do the garbage removal :D

Funny you should ask Travis. I'm definitely interested!

I'm about to begin my new marketing campaign for 2009. A website is going to be an important part of the total plan. I found a company that does basically what you're describing, but the templates are kind of boring to me. What I do like about the company is that they have it set up so you can have embedded music tracks and it looks pretty easy to work with the templates to create and modify a website. It's $21 per month to use their system and it includes hosting which seems reasonable. Here is the company website-Noteway Media. It's specifically for musicians, entertainers, and Performing Artists.

Agreed!

I often lose hours of my free time running random websites through the validation service, and sadly, not many survive its wrath.
