How often do you wash your car or take it to the car wash?

When I was doing private events my van was always parked behind the venue or in a separate area away from the guests. How are the guests seeing your vehicle? Now, I’m not saying it should not be clean but unless it’s a house or it is a very small hall, clients never get near my van.

Now at my college events they move the equipment & help with the setup so yes then they see the van and everything behind the scenes. Then it is not only about the van and equipment but almost what we are wearing. My wife suggested embroidered polo shirts, jackets and hats. We saw an immediate change in the way venues treated us. They must have thought we were some large multi op. Yes, sometime the wife is right.

I used to frequently work with someone who always showed up to the gig in a super clean Ferrari, tricked out Hummer, or Aston Martin. Always parked our front or valet to be certain the client or club goers took notice.

I hadn't heard from him in years until recently when he got out of prison for securities fraud, and ignoring court orders. Clothing and cars tell you nothing about a person. I didn't get paid for the last 3 gigs I supported for him, and there's no suit or vehicle that would give me reason to supply a fourth.

I've got a subscription to my local chain of car washes. I try to run it through twice a month just to get enough value for paying the subscription price. But I could run through every day if I wanted and the cost to me doesn't change.

More often than not I just judge what the line looks like if I'm over near them.

I have a 17 year old car
with mostly crappy paint
abd I work as a custodian.

Unless there is a good reason to wash it
I let the rain do the job.

Actual car wash maybe every few months, but in between I try and keep it clean , basically doing waterless cleanings, keeping the interior clean, dust it off, like Sawdust, its very dusty here in AZ( shocking I know) and it doesnt take very long to get a layer of dust .

i wash wax and clean mine every time i take it out, which is not too often last year i put 100 miles on it.

You need to drive it more often! Get out and enjoy the car! Don't care about having low mileage. The longer you live, the less time you have left to enjoy it!
