Happy 4th. BBQ and booze time. This country rocks. Gas prices suck so I am staying in the backyard this year.

I'd love to John, but knowing my luck (or lack thereof), one of the bullets would come back down, and light the tank farm up :sqerr:
100 million gals or so, would be some awesome fireworks though
I think I'll just pull my lawn chair up to the Hudson, and toss back a few of each, and watch the "pros" do it (and hope they miss us)

I do get a good show though, as I can see Newburgh, Cornwall, West Point, Poughkeepsie, and a few unidentified others
Since I'm old now (50 in a couple weeks), I usually pass out before dark though

About 10 minutes away. We have a little spot near the river that we park and view the fireworks. I tune the radio to the live broadcast and then watch the show. It beats going into the City.

We had a pig roast today, I was up most of the night mucking around with that, than around 3 I came home to take a break and got to BS with Jon a little bit on MSN, that was nice I miss busting his chops. Then I signed off to run my friend to work got home and cooked Sausage & Peppers, Eggplant Parm, and Chicken Parm along with some Macaroni and Potato salad. By the time I got down I was so freakin' tired and aggravated running around after kids I said screw this and walked home.
So, I stopped at the store on the way home got myself some Funions, 2 beers, ice cream and stood out front and watched the fireworks show over the lake.
I need a nap.. Hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th!!
