Where can I get some GOOD cable ties?

I have been using some velcro that I made myself and they work great but I can not find the heavy duty
3/4" self sticking velcro.

I would like for them to be able to stay on the cable at all times.

Also I will need about 30 of them so I do not want to buy 1 at a time.

And if you make the Velcro wraps long enough, they can serve to strap the wire to a speaker pole for a cleaner setup.

I actually leave 3 or 4 long straps on each of my poles .. usually 3 on the vertical pole (on both sides of the Telelock) and 1 on one of the legs.

That's just a little too OC for me.
(and I am pretty darn OC myself)
Bet you go thru a LOT of Gaff tape as well!

I think of it as a time saver .. just pull open an end, pull the cord taught. and reseal. I started doing it years ago for live sound .. I would leave 2 on each mic stand + a 3rd on the mic cable about a foot away from the end .. OK .. maybe I am OCD ...

I don't use as much GAF as I thought I would .. I bought a half dozen rolls on a special NLFX had a year ago and they're still in their wrapping.

You know you spend to much time on the internet when you automatically expand GAF to give a .... in your mind as you're reading. :sqlaugh:

Now back to your regularly scheduled thread.

I use 6" Ball Bungee cords. I use them to wrap extension cords, speaker cords, signal/mic cords, and more. I also use them to dress cables for speakers on stands. I have used these for 10 years and they last 5 or 6 years before the elastic goes and they need to be replaced. That is years longer than I have ever gotten velcro to survive.

I found some from "drapery" supply companies in several different colors (white was the most interesting to me).
