Wondering if anyone owns these lights? I was thinking of adding a couple for school events. My son saw them in use at a school dance and thought they were really cool. They are blowing them out since they've been discontinued. Your thoughts?

I don’t own them, but I like the action. However, I tend to get a bit paranoid about gear that has a lot of movement. I fear something is going to break and leave me with a worthless piece of equipment. I may get over this fear some day and pick up a moving head or two.

Don't own any... don't want any.[emoji1] A little TOO much movement for my taste. Almost circusy or carnivaly (yes I know those aren't real words).[emoji1] I can see why they may not have been big sellers.[emoji4]

They are high energy which is why they would only see use at my school events and the like. At two for $250 US delivered, I think they are worth it.

Mounted sideways is where these lights shine. I think they'll add a nice sizzle for my school / youth events since I don't really play any slow songs, mainly just HIGH ENERGY tunes! They won't be on all the time, just sporadically.
