Did a venue visit with a client today. During the lighting demo portion my Galaxian was not responding well to the remote but enough to get me through. The activity light was strong so I assumed it was the fixture.

When I got back in I thought to try a new battery and it worked like a charm. Replaced with the old battery and the spotty response started again.

Luckily this wasn't during an event.

Most of you may already pack extras however for those who don't take heed.

Here is what I use: http://www.amazon.com/Alkaline-Batt...F8&qid=1362082456&sr=8-2&keywords=23a+battery

Isn't it great having electronics that use batteries you can't possibly find locally if you have an issue? :)

Theo,
Those same batteries can be found at the Dollar store. Do you have a King Dollar or 99Cent store where you live?

Wouldn't Radio Shack carry them?
Radio Shack is not always the most economical option nor are they always competitive in their pricing.
