Can it do just audio? The photos on Amazon didn't look like there were audio in/out jacks, just HDMI.

Not a bad idea. I have not looked for an "injector". You are correct I am mapping my audio to the HDMI Port.

Maybe that's an alternative to the BT setup, though you'd only have the option of mono.
