I use an iPhone and have 2 iPads I use for music backup, so the iTunes integration is a must. Every other app supports it .. Ricky was just a little pigheaded about it.

Being a tad OCD, I prefer to have control over how I tag and organize my music.

And please don't speak down on the deceased. I really miss Ricky...:cry:

Yea .. I had no issue with Ricky (other than his aforementioned dislike of Apple).

As for tagging, you have complete control over iTunes as well, since you can rip and tag outside of iTunes if needed and just import the files in. The issue is, it's easier to manage music when it's in playlists .. and iTunes playlists are "more" standard than any other option, so if you need compatibility between apps, it's going to be tough without it. And, as an owner of Apple backup music devices, it's just a natural fit.
