Few here use Cross DJ, and fewer still set it up as follows. Also, not everyone "mixes", and this is not a value statement - I just had some extra time today. So -
Since I don't work from a Playlist, I use "Crates" by Genre - you can see them lined up on the left side of the library. IMHO, this is the fastest way to move around. Within the "Crate", I use color coding to indicate songs I think mix well with each other. I have Serato DJ set up exactly the same way.
This is the "Club" crate with "Let The Groove In" running @ 120bpm. Conga is also running @120bpm, and once they are beat-matched, I will cross fade before Timberlake hits that blue #1 "Get Out" cue point.
Cross has a "secret" way of expanding one track at a time -
This is it with the waveform also zoomed in. You can really get some precision here if you need it.
