I tried several different laptops (brands and OS) and still experience a sound drop of 1-2 seconds about 4 times an hour (either headphone jack or my usb sound card).
Every tweak has been done to these laptops (black viper, other research, etc). The software uses 2% of my cpu and I do have 4 gig of ram which isn't taxed either. Once every 10 minutes my audiodg.exe file jumps to 95% and can cause a drop, but drops can even happen when the task manager performance is stable. These laptops have not seen the internet nor have anti virus programs or bloatware. These new lappys are a lot faster than my old stable ones, along with Win 64bit rate.
I have one Toshiba (win7) and HP(xp) from 10 years ago that work 100% perfect, but these are getting old and need reliable replacements.
I guess what I am asking for is anyone specific to Rockit Pro ver5 that has been through this. I know if Rick was still around he would enjoy tracking down the issue (s). I am pretty sure there is one specific thing I am missing (tweaking).
Yes, I would love to move on to a different software, but if this "lite", but comfortable software can't cut it, the risk is too high to migrate to something different.
Regards, and many thanx,
joncor
