Apparently, Chauvet can't math, lol... They have the 255 IRC listed as:

Power and Current: 98 W, 1.4 A @ 120 V, 60 Hz

Not sure how 98 watts equals 1.4 amps...? With a 60 watt light source, there is no way they are drawing more than 98 watts. I would plug one into my Kill-A-Watt meter but it no longer functions.

The 255 IRC does NOT have a frost or wash function but one of the glass gobos it comes with produces a nice rippling water type effect with makes for a nice wash. You can see it in my video. I agree with Taso that programming is KEY!

60 watt bulb plus the rest of the stuff may add up to 98 watts BUT 98 watts does not equate to a 1.4 amp draw.
I think it's common to show wattage as running draw and amperage as impulse draw. Starting the motors and lamp initially draws more than the 98 watts, so without more info, I can only assume the 1.4A (168W) is instantaneous draw.
