Just saw this, so not sure they have too effective of a marketing arm ... the exhibitor chart is empty, but idjnow is showing as a vendor. Not sure which manufacturers will be there.

It's a small expo. They have been promoting it through facebook advertising for about 4 months now. I see it pop up on my newsfeed at least twice a month for last 4 months.

I wouldn't attend it because:

A. Sept. 17th is a in demand wedding/party Saturday in Season.
B. It's in New York City. I am not dealing with the Big Apple to attend a DJ Expo.


Because it's on a Saturday, I bet turn out is weak. ...They might be focusing on local NY club DJs, and hopeful many of them attend it.

I think if you went to DJExpo, there wouldn't be any point, but I know there's a bunch of NYC area folks here and for less than $25 it might be worth it if you have it open .. say maybe Mix???

I turned more business away for September 17th than any other day this year. And, I'm pulling a double this weekend. It sounds like it was a horrible date to pick if they want busy DJs to attend.
