Here's the story... My buddy is getting married Sunday of labor day weekend. He's somehow spent way over his budget for the wedding already and was asking me this past weekend "what he could do if he didn't hire a DJ." I told him not to do that, he doesn't realize how much he'll miss having one (I'm in the wedding so I can't do it myself).
His wedding party is ridiculous, TEN PER SIDE bridesmaids and groomsmen. So I'm going to see if each will chip in $40-$50 to hire a DJ as a gift.
I need referrals for local DJ's in southern Maine that could do a 140-person wedding for $800-$1000. No extras, just good music and announcements. No uplighting, video, etc. Obviously I need to get more details but I'm just looking for reputable guys up there to call and get the ball rolling.
