We use Hitmix Bingo for our events. Super easy to use with mp3s and videos as well.

you should always use an external mixer for your controller. especially where a lot of controllers have weak mic inputs

Interesting - hit play and get paid. A lot of DJ's I know might not have taken that gig claiming - "I'm not a jukebox...what if the music sucks and people don't like it and I'll get bad reviews?" But sounds like an easy gig as long as people realize you are just there for sound tech.

Agree - and this where I remind them that a Spotify wedding is 2-3 of your friends hanging around your phone all night arguing about what song to play next and skipping and cutting off songs - aka a train wreck

I use Slideshow Photo Booth on my iPad one. Development of it has stopped and they have moved to a different software that is subscription based which I refuse to do. This software was a one time payment and works just fine for taking pics, printing pics and delivering pics.

What software are you using? I use Darkroom on my Mirror Booth and a different one on my iPad booth. Both have functions to email, and text as well as print. I know Darkroom lets you set up an event gallery - I'm sure there's a post to Facebook option in there somewhere

I would strongly suggest they aren't getting what they are worth. If they are fine with that - I guess that's up to them. For me - I'm tired of the photographer working for 6 hours making 3k when I'm working 12 hours and people think I'm only worth $1500. Everybody has a cell phone with a camera...

Enclosed trailer here in Canada...I don't leave stuff inside during the winter..maybe a few times in the summer. Also have a solar panel, battery and car alarm installed though cause I do have signage on it.
