I own exactly 44 speakers 4 of them are active for cocktails and ceremonies. With the onslaught of lightweight amps. My go to rig is much more capable and lighter than its active counterpart. It is also scalable.

Honestly doc whatever you buy they are going to rag you about it because that's what they like to do. If you like the lights and stand that's all that matters. do you don't worry so much about their opinions and acceptance. Non of them are going to hire you because they are Djs too lol

Glad the gig went well! Also try taking Gatorade or powerade with you next time helps a lot with cramps drink while event is ongoing. I do that with my big sound and lighting gigs

I Used drops at my gig this past weekend. Long list of sponsors they wanted me to read 4 times an hour. Done it recorded it. 1st sampler in serato, hit it once every 15 minutes lol. Also in club situations I used them regularly.

I hate buying gear that can only be used for one type of gig. I.e.. Glow Lights that do nothing else but glow. You may break them out at most 2 times a year. But you having to pay the price for buying them. They are a one trick pony. That's why I went with the FX2s

I would just add too current inventory. I use the FX4 Par bags Fits 2 wash fx2s perfectly. That goes in a Home depot Husky rolling case from Home Depot. I now have 8 Wash FX 2s
