Well you work out the numbers, yeah it is less than 2% lol I was just thinking it is rare, not even once a year, in fact I think the last time was at a wedding, but usually it is a corporate event. But here is a pic from that wedding 2 years ago.
I have the OG Gigbar and bought the GigBar Flex without the Laser. oh and I am not a weekend warrior.
90% of my events don't even want lights and the the left over 8% just want a little something that puts a little energy on the floor. Which is where the GigBar shines.
2% of my events want...
I use VDJ for karaoke. I don't do bars, I tried that but the singers are a pain, and they don't pay shit.
But I do a lot of private corp events with it and average about $900 a show.
I have a real library of music from Sound Choice and Chartbusters and so on, and I have no idea how I would...
I agree that a 15" would defeat the deal, it's the same thing I think of when I hear of DJs bringing an extra 18" sub. I am always saying no one speaker will be cool for every gig, but buying the "50's" and always bringing an extra sub seems silly.
First off, there is not 1 speaker that will do well in a small room and large hall.
I'm an EV fan, and I own 6 of the ZLX 12's, and I have subs to go with them depending on the show either 12's or 18's. I have never had a problem with my ZLX's and have used them and pushed them hard.
I got one of the Denon 6000mk2 from Ben at NLFX.
I have never had a controller before being a "mouse" guy.... It is supposed to be here Friday.
For those of you that have one, any hints or things I should look for when starting out?
